I recently had the opportunity to review Mineral Hygienics. This is my first beauty review and I hope I do this make up justice.
Right off I was in love. The make up comes beautifully packaged in the box. It made me excited to open the box and find this. I guess the packaging sort of made me feel like it was going to make me beautiful because it was so beautiful.
I received two foundations, powder, enhancer, and kabuki brush. The two foundations are light and medium, the powder is sheer, the enhancer is cool kiss, and the kabuki brush is wonderful.
I found the light to be a bit too light and the medium too dark. I went to their website and they do offer a medium-light. I am going to have to order some! I decided to mix mine in order to make it work.
I used the cool kiss enhancer as blush. It gave a nice sun kissed look. I also used a little on my shoulders.
I did not feel the need to even use the powder. I am glad I have it, but the way the foundation goes on makes the powder obsolete.
I really like this make up. I have kinda blotchy skin and I really felt the foundation evened out my tones. I also really like that it is mineral makeup…no clogged pores.
This is my face before.
I am not a make up girl at heart, but I do like to look pretty once in awhile. I was pleased to find that Mineral Hygienics includes a page on how to apply the make up.
This was very helpful for me.
I really felt this make up even out my complexion and made my face pretty. I love that I can use the cool kiss enhancer as a blush or an all over enhancer. I really felt pretty afterwards.
If you are looking for a nice, natural foundation and make up that is multi-use, this is for you.
