Ila Personal Safety Review
Ila has several options for personal safety.

I was given the opportunity to review three of their personal safety devices. The Dusk, Pebble, and Wedge.
First, I will go over the Wedge.

The Wedge is a door wedge used on a closed door. The idea is when someone tries to enter that door, the door edge will hit the wedge setting off a very loud alarm. I live in a mobile home and unfortunately my doors are too high for the wedge to work. However, I did a simulation with a phone book near the door with the wedge on it and it worked. The alarm is super loud. I am going to give it to an elderly woman from my church whose husband recently died and she is scared being alone in the house. The loud alarm will ensure she hears it and I know it will give her a sense of safety.
This is the Pebble.

The Pebble is a key chain essentially. You hook it to your keys and you are good to go. The idea is you always have your keys and now you’ll have an alarm as well. You just pull the top off and an alarm sounds. This alarm is super loud. I really like this. For those women who always have their keys in their hands, this is the perfect personal alarm.
Now for my personal favorite. The Ila Dusk.

This is my favorite one and the one I personally use. I hook it to my pants loop. However, you can hook it to just about anything. This one is set off by pulling the chain. As I throw my keys in my purse, this is the best one for me. The alarm on this one literally “SCREAMS” for you. When I say scream I mean deafeningly loud. I love it. I never leave home without it.
I actually had a few elderly women in Walmart ask me what it was and where they could get one. For your safety or for the safety of a loved one, I recommend purchasing one of these. They also have one for bags and sport ones. They are also very inexpensive.

I need the wedge for my sliding glass door! It sounds like it would be perfect for my apartment. Since my dog passed away I don’t feel safe, and every little noise makes me jump up. Least with something like that I’d know for sure if someone moved the door.

I’ve never heard of the Wedge, but it sounds absolutely genius. My hubby’s Grandma could use a couple of them for her home.

I need this alarm key ring! I really want pepper spray but am afraid that i might not use it right, or accidently spray it so this would be perfect! Especially right now it gets dark so early and is pitch black when i get off work

I would love to have the pebble! I’m a dainty (as my husband refers to me) woman, and work at night. I’m always concerned about personal safety. I take the precautions I can, like having my key ready, talking on the phone (or pretending to!) and watching my surroundings, but things happen. Having one of these would be an extra blanket of security…one every woman, no matter of size, needs!.

I have the Dusk and I LOVE IT! I feel so much safer when I walk my dog at night in the apartment complex. She’s a big dog but not very scary or mean, so the alarm is a perfect option for me!
